[KROQ This Week] The Postal Service, Modest Mouse, Green Day, Coachella, And More

Weekend one of Coachella is over, and all we can say is WOW! All the performances at the KROQ Coachella House, the GIANT Sahara tent, the hordes of people! And of course, all the amazing artists at Coachella! In short, weekend one was epic!

We’re gearing up for weekend two, and we hope you are as well, but before then you head out, you should definitely check some of the other great shows happening in LA this week.

First it’s The Postal Service Moday night and Modest Mouse Tuesday at the Fox Theatre in Pomona. We won’t be there, but we think you should!

On Thursday night we will be rocking out with Green Day at the LA Sports Arena.

Then, we’re off to weekend two of Coachella. See you in the desert!

Los Angeles: This week is full of awesome concerts including the SOLD OUT Postal Service show tonight at the Fox Theatre in Pomona and Modest Mouse at the same venue tomorrow night! The KROQ crew is still recovering from Coachella weekend 1 and gearing up for weekend 2, but we hope you make it to these badass shows!

Culver City: All work and no play makes the KROQ crew hungry… okay, everything makes us hungry. Find us on our lunch break around 1pm and holler for some stickers.

Venice/Santa Monica: The KROQ crew is workin’ on our real tans for Coachella
weekend 2. Gotta’ look good for the ladies right? If you see us say hi and we
might hook you up with stickers.

Culver City: The KROQ crew is headin’ back out to Indio for weekend 2. Spot the caravan of KROQ vans and say hi or honk. We might say hi back if we haven’t passed out yet.

Los Angeles: Some of the crew stayed behind to check out the Green Day show tonight at the LA Sports Arena. We are so stoked for this show that we are missing Coachella for it. Yeah, Green Day is that awesome. Find us before you go in and we’ll hook you up with some KROQ freebies.

Indio: The KROQ crew is back in Indio and ready for weekend 2 of the Coachella Valley Music
& Arts Festival! If you’re going to the festival stop by the KROQ tent for
swag, music and air conditioning while you check out performances by Metric,
Tegan & Sara, Passion Pit, How to Destroy Angels, Dog Blood, Bassnectar,
Grinderman, Jurassic 5, Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blur, The Stone Roses and
many more.

Indio: Weekend 2 of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is rockin’ with
performances by Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club, The XX, The Postal
Service, Sigur Ros, New Order, Hot Chip, Grizzley Bear, Phoenix and many more.
Beat the heat and hang with the crew in the KROQ tent for freebies, music and
air conditioning in between catching your favorite bands.

Indio: Coachella weekend 2 is coming to a close with day 3 full of awesome performances
by Excision, James Blake, La Roux, Dead Can Dance, The Limineers, Tame Impala,
Eric Prydz, Pretty Lights, Wu-Tang Clan, Social Distortion, Vampire Weekend,
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more. Stop by
the KROQ tent and say your goodbyes before you head home and try to remember
what you did this weekend. We’ll miss you all, okay not really.
